Decided to stay in Dubrovnik for 3nights instead of 5. It was actually more than enough to see the 'sights'.
Both full days, we were back at our accomodation by 5pm.
The apartment booked was in Lapad region of Dubrovnik. 3 parts of Dubrovnik..
1-old town (where everything is)
2-lapad (apparently e highest amt of accom for tourists)
3-bus/boat station
So unlike Split/Hvar where we could walk everywhere,Dubrovnik needed a bus everywhere. Maybe because i stayed outside the old town, but at a cheaper cost.
The old town is really tiny but it has much to see. Finished two rounds of it within half a day. Costs and quality of seafood is not as reasonable has the rest of Croatia but this IS the tourist area.. So i guess that's expected. It rained a few times a day but i managed to still enjoy myself.
The second day was the GAME OF THRONES tour. This was the MAIN event for my visit to Croatia. And it was worth every cent spent!
We took a bus to the old town at 8am and gathered with a grp of 20 at 9.15am. They were of varying races and age! there were GoT lovers and some partners being dragged along.
Sorry if the writing is weird, im typing this on a 15hr train without any sleep e last 20hrs.
Anyway, the female guide was lovely in including everyone and had great information. I actually had e chills when i saw the first scene she brought us to! It was one of the more impactful scenes where Cersei calls e guards to seize LittleFinger to show her power!
The 3hr tour seemed like 5 and i loved every second! They even included e city walls walk in e cost which we didnt know!
The last day,we caught e morning bus back to Split, headed to my fav jao restaurant for e delish terriyaki chicken bento and tookaway Rizzos sandwich for e 15hr train journey to Budapest.
That was the worst train ever. Not only was it dirty and crowded, there was no Aircon and our window was stuck!!
Overnight train with no air,can u imagine? Ppl were sleeping on e corridors to escape the heat. By the time the train reached budapest,i was dying of fatigue. We made it to e apartment booked but realised there was no level or unit number. We had to ask the building ppl and they didnt know much!
Waited a good 2hrs before the owner returned a call made by a new friend called Barbie.
She is a fellow kpop lover and lived below our rented apartment.
She offered to bring us around the following day and we made it across the river to Buda and saw the castle, matthias church and fishermans bathion (?? Super pretty!)

Barbie even brought me to where Doctor Stranger was filmed!
Tadah:
And e bridge jaehee fell off! Too fun.
Picked up a friend, theresa from the airport and was/am soooo excited about her joining!! Its day 3 and things aretotally looking up wth her!
Anyway, the next day Barbie invited us to her place. Where we cooked chicken stew w paprika & pancakes from scratch! It took close to 3hrs but was soo yummayyy!
Dinner,we cooked Shin spicy korean noodles for her and she loved it.
The next day,our last, she allowed us to camp out at her place from check out 12nn til 6pm as our train to romania was really late.
We cooked sweet n sour pork for her n family, they loved it i guess?
Hahhaha it wasnt too bad! Surprisingly.
So here i am,on another 14hr train to Romania. An superrrbly excited for Romania cant believe im on its lands already! ^^
